Get ready for New Need for Speed Game - Coming in 2017
Need for Speed Developer, Ghost Games announced today, on the 10th of May, The next game in the long-running racing series will be released in 2017. In a blog post titled "Taking Stock," the EA-owned studio said it has been "humbled" by the support and volume of feedback it's received since launching Need for Speed in 2015. With this in mind, a new game will come out in 2017, next year. So, be ready for that.
According to official statement by developer, "We are now building upon the foundations that have been laid with Need for Speed and delivering our next game in 2017.”
However, don't expect the developer to keep quiet between now and then. "Far from it," Ghost Games said. "We'll be working with our community and there will be multiple opportunities to bring many of you into the studio in the coming months to get your feedback on where we're headed." In that blog post, Ghost Games also shared an info-graphic that discloses some of the actions players have made in Need for Speed since launch. Players have collected 9.8 billion Rep points, taken over 35 million Snapshots, and racked up $2.5 trillion-worth of in-game cash. The Need for Speed franchise going to maintain its release on a yearly basis.
For those who are not familiar with the game, Need for Speed is a racing video game franchise published by Electronic Arts and developed by several studios including EA Black Box, Criterion Games and Ghost Games.
